| Aluminum pin with NSKK above eagle standing on wreath with swastika. Measures 20mm in size, with strong crimped in pin back assembly. Reverse is hallmarked RZM M1/17. |

| Early type enameled finish. Some spider cracks in the white enamel, but it looks like it has been there for a long time. The reverse is hallmarked RZM M1/34 and has a nice strong safety pin type attachment. |

Fliegerhorst Kommandandtur OELS Membership Pin |

| Airport area command for the Luftwaffe in Poland, Russia, and again Poland. The city is now called Ole?nica Oels and lies to the west of Poland. Formed 26.8.39 in Oels as Fliegerhorst-Kommandantur E Oels, air command VIII. Disbanded upon the invasion of Russia in 1941. Reformed 15.6.44 in Oels from air Command A (o) 48/III. This would have been issued to all Luftwaffe personal for when off duty in their deployed defense zone. Very rare pin made with stamped brass. It does show patina & wear, as shown. The reverse has a nice strong pin assembly. Overall an excellent example of a rare pin. |
