Black Wound Badge 1939 with Award Document |

| Black wound badge has all the black paint still remaining over brass, which is the early type badge. The reverse has the correct pin and latch assembly, and is unmarked. The badge has the award document, which was awarded to Feldwebel Ewald Wegener, Technical Company 70 on November 30th, 1943. The document shows some age yellowing, and has been folded once, but is in overall Excellent Plus condition. Overall this is a Very Nice set! |

| Very nice Iron Cross with some age patina, all the paint is intact on the front, with some minor chips missing on the reverse. Comes with original unmounted ribbon. Award document issued in June 24th, 1940 to an Unteriffizier Paul Hartmann of 5./J.R. 379. Signed by a General Major and Commander. Document is in outstanding condition, and has been folded in center. Excellent display! |

| The Panzer Assault Badge in bronze was awarded only to Panzer Grenadiers, crews of Assault Guns, Armored cars, and Infantry attached to them. This example is by "EWE", with most of the bronze finish still intact. The reverse is vaulted and recessed, with a nice strong pin and catch assembly. It would be very hard to upgrade this one. |

| This Russian Front medal still has all of its original silver finish along the edges, and black paint as well, which shows some bubbling. It is hallmarked 100, for Rudolf Wachtler & Lange, Mittweida & comes with the original mint ribbon. It is in the original issue packet, which is in mint condition, with the reverse stamped with the same manufacturer as the medal. Very Nice set! |

| 1939 pattern, die struck, zinc alloy construction, solid backed, badge with a silver washed finish. The badge is in the form of an embossed, vertically oval, laurel leaf wreath encompassing an embossed profile of an M35 pattern helmet with a high relief, canted, swastika to the center, superimposed over crossed swords on a pebbled base field. The age dulled, silver washed finish is retained about 75% with numerous spots of wear to the base alloy. The solid reverse has a crimped, soldered, hinge, with a thin round, vertical pin and a soldered catch on an rectangular base plate inset into a recess all intact. The reverse of the badge is well marked with the embossed manufacturer's numerical code within an oval cartouche, "107", indicating manufacture by Carl Wild of Hamburg. |
